Artoni e Fadani has always been committed to ensuring complete transparency and reliability for our clients through internationally recognised certifications. Our approach to production extends beyond the technical quality of the finished product to encompass the entire timber supply chain, from raw material sourcing to emission controls.
The certifications we hold provide tangible assurance for those choosing our panels: they verify the traceability of forest origins, compliance with the most stringent environmental standards, and adherence to international formaldehyde emission regulations. Each certificate results from rigorous audits conducted by accredited third-party bodies that continuously monitor our operations.
Certificazione FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council)
Since 2023, Artoni e Fadani has held FSC® certification for chain of custody management under standard FSC-STD-40-004 v3.1. This certification guarantees that plywood and multi-layer panels bearing the FSC® mark originate from responsibly managed forests, where environmental, social and economic considerations are maintained in balance.
Our certification covers the purchase and trading of FSC® 100% logs and veneers, as well as the production of veneers and plywood panels in FSC® 100% and FSC Mix categories. This means we can offer our clients products that meet the increasingly demanding market requirements for environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

PEFC Certification (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification)
Alongside FSC® certification, Artoni e Fadani also obtained PEFC chain of custody certification in 2023, under standards PEFC ITA 2001:2020, PEFC ITA 1002:2020, PEFC ST 2001:2020 and PEFC ST 2002:2020. The PEFC system provides a further guarantee of sustainable forest management and is particularly widespread across Europe.
PEFC certification confirms our ability to manage the entire production chain in a traceable manner, from raw materials to finished panels. We employ the physical separation method to ensure that certified timber is never mixed with material from different sources, thereby guaranteeing full compliance with required standards.

EPA/CARB Certification for Formaldehyde Emissions
The health and safety of end users is an absolute priority for Artoni e Fadani. For this reason, our EPAPLY panels (plywood from 2 to 32 mm) are certified under the world’s most stringent formaldehyde emission regulations: U.S. EPA Code of Federal Regulation TSCA Title VI – 40 CFR §770 and California Code of Regulation §93120.
These certifications verify that our panels comply with TSCA Title VI Phase 2 (P2) and ATCM (Airborne Toxic Control Measure) emission limits, the most restrictive standards currently in force for composite wood products destined for the U.S. and international markets. Compliance with these parameters is verified through quarterly testing conducted by accredited laboratories.
Meeting these regulations not only guarantees access to the most demanding markets but also represents a tangible commitment to protecting the health of those living and working in environments where our panels are installed.
